NCYE’s work wouldn’t be possible without our partners. Here are the organizations we work alongside in Sri Lanka and North Carolina.
North Carolinians for Peace Foundation (NCFPF)
Our closest partner organization, NCFPF works alongside NCYE to coordinate projects in Sri Lanka, support communications and outreach for local drives, and host fundraising events like the Cricket Tournament, Beach Picnic, and Kalai Vizha.
Aram Trust Fund (Annai Illam)
Aram Trust Fund runs Annai Illam, an education program in Sri Lanka providing free schooling to low-income students. Since 2019, NCYE members have held regular video calls with Annai Illam students as part of our Virtual Education Initiative.
Pari Foundation
The Pari Foundation partnered with NCYE and NCFPF to install clean water filtration systems at schools in rural Sri Lanka, bringing safe drinking water to students where it was previously scarce.
Uyirilai
Based in Mankulam, Mullaitivu, Sri Lanka, Uyirilai supports individuals with spinal cord injuries from the Sri Lankan Civil War. NCYE has donated school materials for the community’s grade-school children.
Vanni Association for the Visually Impaired
This Sri Lankan organization supports children who became visually impaired due to the war. NCYE’s Backpack Initiative has provided personalized, fully-stocked backpacks to around 50 of their students.

ORHAN (Organization for the Rehabilitation of Handicapped Persons)
Based in Vavuniya, Sri Lanka, ORHAN supports individuals with physical disabilities. NCYE has donated printers, school supplies, and clothing to support their work with the local community.
